Podium in Highlands 101!

Renato Loberto once again joined team owner Paul Van Loenhout in the Mt Magnet Drilling Ferrari 458 Challenge EVO. This time for the prestigious “Highlands 101” endurance race at New Zealand’s beautiful Highlands Motorsport Park.

For both drivers it was their first time to the recently built circuit, and Renato only arrived on the Sunday morning 10-minutes before Qualifying, having not driven the circuit before.

He did not disappoint, putting the car on pole for Challenge Class by 1.2secs after only 5 laps of the circuit.

With limited development time before the race, both drivers struggled slightly with the setup of the car but still managed a comfortable second place in their class.
